Language and Computing (L&C) uit Zonnegem biedt LinKFactory nu ook met OWL-compatibiliteit. LinKFactory is het ontologiebeheersysteem van L&C dat vooral voor het beheer van medische en farmaceutische ontologieën gebruikt wordt. OWL staat voor Web Ontology Language. Dat is de standaardtaal die gebruikt wordt voor het Semantische Web en is ontwikkeld door het World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
